After ages, a sudden mood swept by to pen down some thoughts in my Chip & Dale :-)
An unexpected chat with a friend, took me to relive those special moments we spent on a weekend getaway during the last New Years eve. The location that we chose to stay was what I loved the most - a log cabin located inside a dense jungle on the banks of a beautiful lake. We celebrated the New Years eve with lots of dance, drinks and music and went to bed really late after a long fun filled night.
I woke up the next day and stepped out to the deck to witness one of the most mesmerizing moments. The lake looked very enchanting with a huge cloud of “mysterious” mist floating over it and I sat there awe-struck, sipping a cup of hot tea and enjoying this blissful sight. The mist slowly began to clear its way to reveal a gorgeous scenery of green mountains whose reflection was etched so well over the lake. The tranquil solitude brought in by the serene air and the silence of the lake was so peaceful and one of a kind feeling. The atmosphere was filled with the sounds of the birds chirping and gushing waters from a nearby stream. Later, we went boating in the lake which started out a little scary, but later ended as an unforgettable experience as I was a first timer in rowing a boat :-)
Had a great time with friends during those late night chat sessions, hair beautification & photography experiments, camp fire, bbq and grilling, cooking etc. All in all a fantastic trip filled with memories for a lifetime and I am sure is very lucky to have a handful of friends who bring in so much joy and happiness into our daily lives. I am eagerly looking forward to our next getaway which I believe is soon and can’t wait to blog down that experience :-)
